James Case has generously donated this delightful and confidently executed maritime painting in aid of Rescue Wooden Boats.
It is an unframed oil painting on board. it measures 91.5 x 61 cms (3ft x 2ft). The artist is not known. It was sold to James as being of Walberswick but he believes it to be Southwold. The red fishing boat has at LT (Lowestoft registration)
It will be displayed at the Maritime Heritage Festival and Flotilla in Wells this coming weekend, Saturday July 29 & Sunday July 30, and be sold in a blind auction.
